Craven Cyrus is considered one of the two foundation ponies for the Section B Welsh Mountain Pony. His Sire was the Arab "King Cyrus" and his dam was the Welsh Mountain Pony "Irfon Lady Twighlight" daughter of Dyoll Starlight. Rocko has 4 crosses to Craven Cyrus.

Described in the Craven Stud Sale Oct. 3rd, 1936 as without doubt one of the best sires of riding ponies alive today; he has the best of limbs and sweetest of tempers.

The most influential present day line of Craven Cyrus is via DOWNLAND LOVE IN THE MIST( 1954), a great grand daughter of Craven Cyrus. Rocko has 4 crosses to Downland Love in the Mist in his Pedigree.
