Mel's King of Rock and Roll (King)

05/12/06 - King just Hours old. "He was probably 6-8 hours old and went under the fences to visit the ranch next door. The cows did not know what to think of him. Lily likes the paddock next to the cows until the wind blows in and takes her hay to the cows. They come up and sleep next to her." Cynthia Langley

06/30/06 King 1.5 Months Old...."He is so cute and smart. He has learned to go to the good boy corner of his stall and wait patiently, so that we can put his halter on and rub all over him. Some of the baby fuss is coming off. He loves it the rubbing and brushing. He is in a mare pasture with 2 QH mares and their foals 2-3 months older and much taller. He tells them what to do all the time. Acts like he is their size. The doe bring out their fawn with spots to nurse when Lily is. When the foals lay in the sun to nap, the fawn do too. Very cute."
